Nuziveedu Seeds’ Wheat Breeding Team Honored at 63rd AICRP Workshop for Landmark Release of NWS 2194 BADSHAH
At the 63rd All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) workshop on Wheat, held in Ayodhya from September 11th to 13th, 2024, Nuziveedu Seeds’ Wheat Breeding team received special recognition for their outstanding contributions to wheat breeding and research. The team was honored by prominent figures in the agricultural sector including Dr. T. R. Sharma, Deputy Director General of ICAR; Dr. Rattan Tiwari, Director of ICAR-IIWBR; Dr. Pradhan, Assistant Director General (ADG) of Food and Fodder Crops; and Dr. B. Singh, Vice Chancellor of Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUAT).
The highlight of the event was the recognition of Nuziveedu Seeds’ wheat variety NWS 2194 BADSHAH which was officially released during the Central Variety Release Committee (CVRC) meeting in 2022-23. This variety is a significant achievement, showcasing enhanced yield potential, disease resistance, and adaptability to diverse agro-climatic conditions making it an ideal choice for wheat farmers in India. The development of BADSHAH reflects Nuziveedu Seeds’ commitment to providing cutting-edge high-quality seed solutions for Indian agriculture.
