In a significant step toward advancing agricultural research, sustainability, and productivity, Nuziveedu Seeds Limited (NSL) and Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUaT), Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to improve farming practices, develop new crop varieties, and address the challenges of climate change, thereby ensuring national food security. The historic MoU was signed on November 22, 2024, by authorized representatives of NSL and ANDUaT.

- Develop and commercialize high-yielding, climate-resilient crop varieties and hybrids suitable for Uttar Pradesh and other agro-climatic regions.
- Test and evaluate promising varieties to recommend them for cultivation.
Sustainability and Climate Action - Promote sustainable farming practices and Direct Sown Rice (DSR) through jointly planned extension programs.
- Address mechanization in crops like maize, millet, rice, wheat, and mustard to provide cost-effective, indigenous agricultural solutions.
Areas of Collaboration
The MoU outlines joint efforts to:
- Test and identify high-performing varieties for commercial adoption.
- Promote rice varieties tailored for domestic and export markets, including Basmati and non-Basmati rice.
- Enhance agricultural profitability and productivity through sustainable practices and modern technologies.
